Disneyland and much more.....

Disneyland
Most of these pictures don't need captions. Jess and I went to Disneyland with Maryn and Lucy. It was so much fun. We went on Dumbo 3 times. We meet the princesses and Mickey and Minnie Mounse. Betty and Colette joined us in the afternoon. Colette brought her 4 year old twins. It was good to see them.

Lucy actually danced in the street at the Celebrate Parade. She looked so cute.

Maryn and JJ rode on Big Thunder Mountain!

What brave 4 year olds.

Mickey and Minnie's House

Here are the princesses.

Downtown Disney

Jess Maryn Lucy and I went to Downtown Disney. We check out the Lego Store and went to Build a Bear. We did this the day before our trip to Disneyland and it gave the girls a nice preview of what Disneyland would be like. I like Downtown Disney because you can part there for free for 3 hours.

Erica's Baby Shower
We had a wonderful shower for Tadpole (aka Baby Douglas). It was nice that Jan was out here from Minnesota for the shower. And of course I appreciate the fact that Sandy is always willing to host our parties at her lovely home.

Steven & Megan

I got to spend one day with Megan and Steven. We played a lot, especially in the water. What great kids Kevin and Katie have. They have lots of energy and know how to have a good time. Steven and I made playdough hats for his character. Down below you can see Megan checking herself out with her feather on.

Easter at The Cabin and Yosemite

Our Easter tradition is to spend it at the cabin with the Sacramento Ballantis. We did it again this year and had a wonderful time. Laurel and Rachel (Laurel's cousin who is getting married in Yosemite in May) joined us. It's nice to have young people with us. We had a great time and wonderful visit. On Saturday we drove up to Badger Pass and did some cross country skiing on the Glacier Point Road that is closed and covered with snow. We skiied about 5 1/2 miles and had a wonderful time with Rachel and Laurel. I was pleasantly surprised that Don and I were still able to ski. It's been a lots of years since we have been out on our skis. It was well worth the effort. The conditions couldn't have been better. Scroll down for some amazing pictures.

Isn't this beautiful!
