Here is a picture of Don outside of the house we stayed in. Notice the hole from the woodpeckers in the tree behind him. There were many woodpeckers in the area. I've never seen a tree so full of holes with nuts in them.

Here they are leaving at 8:30 in the morning. They were suppose to meet us at 1 o'clock for lunch and they made in spite of the very steep terrain.

So, here is just one of the many woodpeckers in Cambria.

Sally and I brought our bikes, but we headed down to the ocean. We explored the tide pools. Here is Sally with her back to the ocean. Check out the next picture. "Never turn your back to the ocean." We both actually got a bit wet. But, we had a wonderful time. And we never did get on our bikes, but that was fine with us.

We saw Star Fish and and kinds of things that were alive. What a great tide pool.
Here is a playful sea otter enjoying the day.
On Sunday we headed to Hearst Castle. Don and I hadn't been there for over 30 years. We actually had a wonderful tour. The pools were my favorite part. Below is a view of the outside pool and the inside pool. The inside pool was a mosaic made with Murano Glass. Since I have been looking at mosaic lately, I was very impressed.

In these pictures Laurel and I were trying to teach how to touch the top of the Transamerican Pyramid. Nice job Megan! You may see Megan in the new Sci-Fri movie, "Giant Baby attacks San Francisco".

Since this is a mother's group wedding, it seemed appropriate to have a picture of mother and son.
What a perfect setting in the Berkeley Hills. The wedding and the weather could not have been more perfect. It was held at the Brazilian Room in Tilden Park. Did you know that the Brazilian Room was part of the 1939 World's Fair on Treasure Island? I just learned that last night from DB. It's a great wedding location.

The Wedding Party

Here is a picture of our mother's group. What a fine looking bunch we are. Can you believe that we all started meeting on a regular basis 28 years ago? This is our village. It does take a village to raise a child.
I didn't take very many pictures, but I wanted to include this one to show off Kelly's dress. I know everyone wants to see the brides dress.
